What Rise CMC Offers

CMC stands for Consultancy, Mentoring and Coaching. These are three different ways to help people or businesses to rise to new heights and achieve their goals. The approaches can be standalone or combined.

I offer short and long-term support for businesses of all shapes and sizes.

What are the differences between Consultancy, Mentoring & Coaching?

  • Consultancy: an expert evaluating a situation and giving advice on and solutions to the problems. Consultants can be hired to do a specific project. It can be very hands-on and detailed.
  • Mentoring: a longer-term relationship between someone experienced in something helping someone learning in that area. The Mentor observes and gives opinions and advice from their own experience. It is less hands-on than Consultancy but still involves advice and guidance.
  • Coaching: helps an individual identify and achieve a specific goal themselves by the Coach creating the right thinking space, asking powerful questions and providing reflections. It is future-focused and a partnership. It’s hands-off and gives more freedom for creativity of solutions.

Combining these approaches can help people achieve their goals in a holistic way. I believe this more eclectic approach better handles a wide range of issues and powerfully supports ongoing development.

Success ingredients:

  • It’s important to understand what you want to achieve so I can design the right support for you. This may change over time but my more holistic approach can flex with you as you rise.
  • You’ve got to be willing to share and be open to change in order to grow.
  • The quality of the relationship is a big factor of success for any coaching so it’s important that you find the right person to help you.
  • You need to be up for investing in your and your business’ development.
